Because I have pronation, I must have decent arch support or my feet begin to hurt. From just walking inside my home on hardwood floors, after 10 minutes my arches began to hurt and then my problem foot followed suit. I really expected more from North Face in terms of arch support. They are too low to add insoles (I tried that and my foot wanted to walk out), which was my attempt to find a way to keep them.
